Next Wednesday is "Day of DUPR"

Nick

We know that many of you were looking forward to logging some scores into DUPR with the recently canceled Madness tourney, so we'd like to use next Wednesday as an opportunity to do just that. On April 2nd we will be holding another "Day of DUPR" where all scores of games played that day will be recorded. If you have an active DUPR account and would like to participate sign up as you normally would and then show up! If you do not have a DUPR profile established please do that (it's free at www.mydupr.com) prior to the 2nd and also join Green Mountain Community Fitness as a club linked in your account (search Clubs). If you do NOT want to participate in the whole DUPR thing please take Wednesday off as we can't log any scores when all 4 players are not on the platform.

In addition, we will do our best to run organized sessions on that day so that team composition and opponents are chosen at random. With this in mind we ask that you arrive at your session on time and plan on playing at least 90 minutes.

Thanks!

Nick

Yes - just regular player lineup registration

Billy

Wish I could, but I'll be 'on the road again', like Canned Heat.

Women, It's killing me that I can't join our Friday PM Women's session but I have a meeting with a new client and it's at 2 PM. Bahhhh. Sorry. Next week! Have fun!

Denise

Hoping we will have at least 4 at 2:30 because I may sign out at 8.

It's last minute, but I would play if we can get a fourth

I'll head over there. Looks like Win C might be a group alone at the same time.

Hello Pickelballers! Our “Pickleball Meltdown” charity tournament benefiting the Capstone Fuel Assistance Program is just around the corner on April 12th and 13th. Every registrant will get a raffle ticket when they arrive for the opportunity to win one of many great prizes. In each of the flights registrants can win one of many excellent new pickleball paddles, 12-packs of Franklin X-40s, gift certificates to Dick’s Sporting Goods, and gift certificates to The Meltdown - an excellent local restaurant Michelle and I happen to really enjoy. If you wish to purchase more raffle tickets to increase your chance of winning the price is $5 per ticket with the proceeds going to charity.

Here’s the best part. A very generous member of our pickleball community has agreed to match whatever money we take in from the tournament and write a check to the Capstone Fuel Assistance Program. So, the money you spend on registration and extra raffle tickets will be doubled when given to the charity!

The easiest way to register is either through the GMCF app or by calling the front desk. You may self register in any of the three categories. Remember, scores from this tournament will not be reported to DUPR so you don’t need a rating or DUPR membership to play. The 12th from 8am-Noon generally corresponds to DUPR ratings of 3.0-3.75, from Noon to 4pm is generally 3.5-4.25 and on the 13th from 8:30 to 12:30 is generally 4.0-4.75.

A big thanks to Nick and Cady for sponsoring this tournament and I hope to see you there!

Linda

We need a few more players for 4:30 session today. Hoping to get enough to play in this new time slot Nick was kind enough to add. Come join us!
